Fokis

The Prefecture of Fokis, an almost entirely mountainous area, is located in central Greece and to the south it meets the Corinthian Gulf. The most significant mountains in this prefecture are Giona, Vardousia, Parnassus and Iti, while the Lake Mornos reservoir is the main water supplier of Athens.
The capital of the Prefecture, Amphissa, is well known for the famous olive grove, the oldest and best preserved olive grove on earth, with more than 1.200.000 olive trees.
