Ever since it started its operation in 2003, Vagonetto is a famous attraction for adults and students alike; about 6,000 to 7,000 out of the approximately 10,000 visitors it welcomes every year are young men and women, pupils and students from all stages of education. They come not only from the Region of Central Greece (Sterea Hellas), but also from other Regions and areas, such as Thessaly, the Peloponnese, Attica and Euboia, as well as numerous islands such as Crete, Chios, Skiathos and Syros.

Many children visit Vagonetto within the framework of school excursions in the Prefecture of Fokis, since the site is included in the Ministry of Education, Lifelong Learning and Religious Affairs list as a destination for educational tours.
